We are currently in the process of developing a consortium of Pharma, Biotech, Medical Device manufacturers and electronics manufacturers to develop a RFID product set (HW/SW) to meet the EXACT specifications of our industry.
At the present time, large retail, commercial operations (Wall Mart) are driving this initative, user requirements, capabilities, etc.
We are looking for FDA regulated manufacturing firms who have interest in this technology and want a Cost Effective, Industry Specific Solution that will meet the CFR and FDA Guidelines.
We are looking for firms willing to join this consortium.

We are currently in-process of developing a User Requirements Specification, and Design Specification specific to the regulated industry needs. We have several high quality, technology electronics manufacturers interested in co-designing, developing and manufacturing these products to your exact specifications.
Initial Market Issues are:
1. Features and functions of device, hardware and application software, EDC methods & tools
2. Accuracy, repeatability
3. Size of device
4. Cost/unit, implementation costs, product life cycle/support costs
5. Validation Strategy and Tactics
In Phase II, we will be developing a standard Validation Protocol (template) to validate the hardware and application software. Other issues may be integration to ERP/SAP "type" applications.
