Controller
The principal financial adviser to a division of the company. Provides financial planning and control services through a professional staff, including analyzing financial results, applying accepted accounting methods, controlling to budgets, and generating reports on sales, manufacturing costs, profits, etc.
•Responsible for financial planning, reporting and controls for the Homecare business.
•Provide financial and analytical support to the President of Homecare.
•Consolidation and analysis of annual operating budgets, forecasts and strategic plans.
•Ensure the business units financial and business controls are compliant to all SOX requirements
•Developed field compensation plans with the business unit Presidents
•Support the PDP process by ensuring that the portfolio process is in alignment with strategic business objectives
•Develop and implement regional working capital initiatives to maximize cash flow.
Requirements • B.S. Degree in Accounting required; MBA and/or CPA desirable.
• Minimum seven to ten years combined financial experience, including financial analysis, budgeting and financial reporting.
• Experience with Sarbanes Oxley section 404 compliance required
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Knowledge of Hyperion system desirable.
• Proven track record of attaining organizational and personal objectives.
• Adaptable, strong team player with outstanding communication skills and ability to work with all functional areas.
• Strong leadership skills in a diverse and dynamic environment
