The Senior Development Scientist participates in the evaluation and implementation of externally developed new technologies that improve internal processes. The incumbent plans and/or performs studies for the development, evolution and optimization of assay(s)within well-defined boundary conditions and timelines; performs and summarizes experiments independently; participates in identifying technical issues and recommending resolution; maintains well organized laboratory notebooks in compliance with relevant procedures; supports post-launch to resolve performance and/or quality issues; may supervise junior scientists; and may publish articles in scientific journals to advance the company's marketing competitiveness.
