Education and/or Special Training Bachelor's Degree required; MBA or equivalent experince preferred.
Job Description
The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for establishing and driving product marketing strategies and programs consistent with overall business objectives for the Bone Substitute Spine product line. This will be done by utilizing innovative approaches to traditional marketing tools and methodologies. This position serves as a mentor to other marketing professionals and requires minimal supervision.
• Develops product and marketing strategies within a product segment or marketing function
• Develops and executes product marketing strategies to achieve stated revenues and market share objectives.
• Works with Business Intelligence functions to evaluate market trends and develop segment penetration opportunities and targets.
• Works with outside agencies and organizations to benchmark marketing programs and brings best practices in-house.
• Oversee process resulting in consistent positioning and branding image throughout product lines, promotional materials and marketing/sales events.
• Ensures product and marketing messaging throughout all communication mediums in order to deliver clear product education and support.
• Collaborates with field sales management, consulting surgeons and patients to design, evaluate and validate marketing strategies and programs.
• Develops internal engagement programs such as Partners for the Advancement of Spine Excellence (PASE).
• Supports the Spine sales force.
Qualifications/Work Experience • At least 5+ years experience in a classical marketing function with demonstrated direct product management experience.
• Background in healthcare products or medical devices highly preferred.
• Experience working with Bone Substitutes strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated high level of marketing and product management expertise.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Strong oral and written skills (both in groups and one-on-on interaction).
• Demonstrated strong analytical skills.
• Demonstrated consistent ability to deliver results across multiple projects.
• Limited coaching required.
Percent Travel Required 50%
