Software/Hardware Verification/Validation Eng
Generate software validation protocols
Supervise and execute software validation protocols.
Review and approve all software requirement specifications,
software design documentation, and verification documents such as unit test plans, integration plans, test to spec, and other related project documents Participate in design and code reviews
Position Specifications:
1. Knowledge/Educational Requirements
Thorough knowledge of Quality Assurance Systems and industry standards.
Thorough knowledge of software practices and standards.
BS or MS in Computer Science or similar discipline, or equivalent.
5 years of QA and software development experience or equivalent.
Thorough knowledge of real time software design development practices.
Knowledge of software languages including C and C++.
Knowledge of object-oriented design practices and familiarity with UML.
Experience with Clearcase, Clearquest, Rhapsody and Caliber Rm is a plus.
2. Skills and Abilities
Acts as a functional expert in the V&V engineering field
Develops solutions to quality related problems
Good lab practices and troubleshooting skills are desired.
Strong organizational and team skills
